The written interpellation concerns the exclusion of six children’s group projects from EU funding due to a potential conflict of interest involving former Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (MPSV) employee Alexandra Semancová. On April 28, 2026, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (MPSV) excluded four projects from the National Recovery Plan and two projects from the Employment Plus program; according to the ministry, their exclusion does not necessarily mean a loss of European funds. Further funding, potential recovery of funds, and liability for any damages will be assessed through a legal analysis. The ministry is preparing new internal regulations on conflicts of interest; Semancová’s employment ended on April 14, 2026.
