Petr Bendl’s written interpellation asks Prime Minister Andrej Babiš to explain how he is preventing a conflict of interest regarding a debt of over 2.6 billion CZK. He asks specifically about the debtor’s identity and connections, possible public subsidies, and the Prime Minister’s recusal from any decision-making that could affect the debtor. The Prime Minister replied that he had disclosed his financial circumstances in his statutory financial disclosure statement and does not consider it necessary to disclose any further information. The response is to be debated by the Chamber of Deputies.
