MP Svobodová’s interpellation concerns statements made by Minister of Culture Oto Klempíř regarding the audience at the folklore festival in Strážnice on the X network. She asks, in particular, whether the minister’s criticism or the behavior of visitors could affect public funding for culture. The minister stated that he was responding only to specific vulgar attacks, not to all visitors, and that political statements or audience reactions would not be a criterion for grants. At the same time, he denied plans to reduce support for cultural organizations in connection with the incident.
