Document 317 - Amendment to the Animal Breeding Act – RJ
Summary
Scope: Part One–Part Four; § 12–§ 15; pages 1–18.
The bill abolishes the Czech Breeding Inspection Authority and transfers its oversight of breeding, insemination, identification, and registration of livestock to the State Veterinary Administration. Regional veterinary administrations will conduct inspections, adjudicate violations, and impose measures; current inspectors may serve as breeding inspectors. At the same time, the State Veterinary Administration will assume the authority to establish state veterinary institutes, as well as the rights, assets, employees, and ongoing proceedings of the dissolved inspection authority. The effective date is set for April 1, 2027, with certain organizational measures taking effect earlier.
