Document 66 - Proposal for a Council Regulation-Diversif. financing strategy

The document asks the Chamber of Deputies to give its prior consent to a draft EU regulation that technically changes the way medium-term financial assistance to non-euro area Member States is financed. It replaces the current back-to-back system with a diversified funding strategy, which is intended to reduce costs and increase flexibility without changing the purpose of the instrument or increasing resources. The change has no budgetary implications for the EU or the Czech Republic.
